Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church of Gorgopotamos

The Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church was built in 1915. The iconostasis is a creation of the local craftsman Vasilios Skalistis. The two icon cases of the temple are of particular interest, while the images of the iconostasis are known for their Renaissance style and stand out from the images which come from the old church.
