The several forest dirt roads in Smolikas and Grammos that cross their slopes are suitable for mountain biking and many 4×4 excursions. Sections of the paved provincial road network, such as the route through the villages of the plain from Konitsa to Molivdoskepasto Monastery, the road between the villages of Pyrsogianni and Gorgopotamos in Grammos or the one between Elefthero and Armata in Smolikas, are ideal for cycling due to the relatively gentle slopes compared to the surrounding steep slopes – and the very beautiful mountain landscape.
